I'm also the bass player, and Kaz is the caller, for a barn dance and ceilidh band, the New Corona Band New Corona Band barn dance ceilidh birmingham wolverhampton dudley midlands .

And I'm the bass player for Breakaway, a covers band playing a wide variety of 60s, 70s, and 80s music (and more). Breakaway covers band 60s 70s 80s birmingham wolverhampton dudley midlands

Here's a few links to bands we've played with:

Our first support was with Prussian Blue - Mike used to work with Dave Gee many years ago and has known the band for years. They've recruited viola player Paul Miller, who Mike used to play with years ago in Bleeding Hearts.

That has led to supports with two of Paul's other bands, Anorakula and Valuable Fools, which have been most enjoyable.

Paul tends to book supports in twos, and the other support slot on 3rd December 2005 at the Red Lion was done by Ethel Vince, who have also played down at the Roadhouse (and Andy and Mike knew each other in years gone by, too).

And here's a list of links to places we've played:

The Roadhouse in Birmingham, on the Pershore Road runs open mike nights on Thursdays, and it's there that Kaz had her first blooding, as it were. The Palace in Tamworth, where we supported The Brew and the Mick Rutherford Band.
